IMPORTANT NOTICE - 2012 MEMBERSHIP NEW MEMBERS AND RENEWALS
When completing your membership application please note that there are now 2 levels of membership with differing membership fees:
Standard and Gold Card.

NEW MEMBERS: Are automatically eligible for the lower Gold Card membership fee in their FIRST YEAR of membership - after this time you fall under Renewal.

RENEWALS: To be eligible for the Gold Card discounted membership fee you must have contributed as follows:
a) An active Chief Steward, TPR or significant volunteer for at least 1 (one) complete ride OR
b) A ride Secretary or executive member (President / Treasurer / Vice President) of an affiliated ride organising club OR
c) A member of the QERA SMC

Simply open, print and fill in and then send it to the Registrar along with the payment. All cheques made payble to Queensland Endurance Riders Association Inc.
Notice: Please allow at least 10 days for forms to be processed. Any member that does not treat the Registrar in a courteous manner will be reported to and dealt with by the SMC.

Vet Fees for 2011
80klm Ride: $550 +GST
120km Ride: $620+GST
160km Ride: $770 +GST
Marathon $400 +GST per day
Non-accredited receive 75% of relevant fee shown above.

Ride Returns
Make absolutely sure you are entering the Horse number and not logbook number on mastersheet. Also be careful to enter correct spelling of horse so that if the number somehow is transcribed incorrectly, the registrar can cross check by the horse's name.
 
Vet Outs
For a Metabolic vet out it is essential that you write in, degree of metabolic distress e.g. Mild or severe or Invasive. There is an AERA pointscore scale for each of these. The registrar has to enter one of these definitions into the database. It will not accept anything else.
 
Riding Time
Riding time must be put on mastersheet for intro, training and open rides. It is important to do this and not leave it for the Registrar to calculate. Trust me she has a lot of other work to keep her busy.
All of the above have been an ongoing frustration for the registrar so P L E A S E take care -- check and double check to minimise the delay in processing for our Registrar.
