AERA Training and Accreditation
Course for Endurance Veterinarians
To gain accreditation as an endurance veterinarian, vets must complete this course. It consists of four modules that must be completed within six months of signing up for the course. The cost is $150 + GST.
The modules are:
- Introduction to Endurance Vetting - Rules, Regulations and Organisations
- Veterinary Examination of Endurance Horses - Procedures and Parameters
- Veterinary Examination of Endurance Horses - Gait Assessment
- The Metabolically Unwell Horse - Treatment
Module two is freely available to all vets at no cost.
To access the course, please complete the registration form below. The AERA Bookkeeper will prepare an invoice for $150.00 + GST. Once paid, the AERA Webmaster will contact you with login details for the course. You will receive an email from Google Workspace with login details. The course is hosted by Google Classroom.
